Jason Stephen VanHoose II, age 18, of North Wilson Avenue, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Monday, August 2, 2010, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born February 3, 1992, at Ireland Army Hospital in Fort Knox, Kentucky, he is the son of Jason S. VanHoose of Morehead, Kentucky, and Evelyn Diann Fannin VanHoose, who passed away November 8, 2007.
In addition to his father, he is survived by one brother, Justin Scott VanHoose, and one sister, Andrea Leigh VanHoose, both at home; paternal grandparents, John and Sandra Oppenheimer VanHoose of Bradenton, Florida; maternal grandparents, Carl and Rosemary Baker Fannin of Olive Hill, Kentucky; and other devoted family members.
Jason was a 2010 graduate of Morgan County High School and was preparing to enter the Toyota Work Study Program in Georgetown pursuing an Associate Degree in Engineering. He was a member of SADD and TSA, played golf, ran track and cross country in high school. He loved his family and especially enjoyed computer activities. Jason was a member of Trinity Christian Fellowship.
