Jason Bryon Duda was born January 31, 1971 to Ron and Harriet Duda in Canal Zone, Panama.  Jason was the youngest of four boys.

Jason graduated from Seton Catholic High in 1989. He went on to attend the University of Wyoming and graduated in 1994 with a Bachelors in Business Administration.

Jason married Julie Collins in September 1997. They later divorced, but together they raised their son Alex Duda, Jason’s pride and joy.   In 2001 they moved to Boise, Idaho where Jason would open a successful insurance business. He loved owning his own business and being his own boss.

Jason always made sure his son had everything and was actively involved in many of his son’s activities. Jason operated the Caldwell BMX track for two summers, to ensure the kids could continue to race. He later helped Alex purchase his first racecar and helped to feed Alex’s passion for stock car racing. Alex and Jason also shared their love for the Dallas Cowboys and Boise State Bronco football.

Jason was a very driven and passionate person.

Some of the activities that Jason enjoyed were camping, fishing, boating, jet-skiing, travel, cooking and photography.  Jason spent many hours on the local lakes enjoying a campfire and laughing with those he loved.

Jason passed away peacefully on October 22, 2015 while surrounded by friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his father Ronald Duda and four grandparents.

He is survived by his son Alex Duda of Eagle, Idaho; his mother, Harriet Duda of Cheyenne, Wyoming;

Brothers, Bruce Duda and Rodney Duda both of Cheyenne; Bret and Jahna Duda of Des Moines, Iowa;  Uncle Bobby Duda of Colorado; and one nephew and niece, Michael Duda of Cheyenne, Cambria Duda of Billings, Montana.
