Jason Chaney, 47, of Shelbyville, Indiana passed away Friday, December 9, 2022. Jason was born August 16, 1975 in Texas, but moved at a young age to Shelbyville and remained there until he married the love of his life, Elaine (Weller), on April 29, 2022- after they began their life together in Indianapolis.
Jason had the biggest smile and laugh. He was always trying to make others happy. He will be deeply missed by the many who love him. Jason is survived by his wife, Elaine; first love and mother of his children, Beth (Slusser) Chaney; his 3 children, Allison, Adam, and Aiden; his parents James W. and Patricia Chaney; his Grandmother by marriage, Evelyn Weller; his parents by marriage, Keith & Loanne Weller; his siblings by marriage, Dean & Jennie Weller, and Paul & Jacquelyn Weller;and his nieces and nephews, Hannah, Ella, Evan, and Ezra. Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, George & Dorothy Chaney, and Flora J. & Charles F. Harper.
