Jared Webb Nelson, 42, of Eagle, Idaho, died of cancer, December 23, 2010, peacefully at his home. He is survived by his children, Jordan, Soren, and Sydney Nelson; parents, Arlo and Karen Nelson; brothers, Christian, Justin, Eric, and David; and sister, Britta Katrina Nelson.
His youth was spent in Boise and Middleton, Idaho and in Bountiful, Utah. He was an avid sportsman, playing on the Bountiful High School Golf Team and then pursued this sport throughout his life. His support of league football, softball, and baseball as a coach and mentor was continuous.
Those personally acquainted with Jared have always extolled his personal integrity, character and enthusiasm for life. He cherished and loved his family and friends.
Special thanks are given to the community of Eagle for their continuous support and to the St. Alphonsus Cancer Care Center, Boise, for their loving care of Jared.
