Janis Charlane Wagner, 49, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011 in Fairmont. She was born July 11, 1962 in Winchester, VA the daughter of Onie D. Wagner of Rutledge, TN and the late Lydia Joann Wagner. She is survived by two sisters; Tanna Adams of Florida and Joann Golden of WV; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant daughter; Jamie Diane and one brother; Charles Martin Morehead. Janis was raised in Frostproof, Fl, where she attended school from Kindergarten to senior high. She graduated as Valedictorian and with a scholarship attended Polk Community College. She was seeking a career in drafting/blueprinting. Before she received her degree she decided to seek a career at the local Frostproof Police Dept. and then decided to adventure out to see the world. Her travels brought her to WV, where she had family. During her time of seeking she settled in the Morgantown area. There she made lots of friends and touched lots of lives. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all.
