On April 2, 2011 at approximately 2:10 PM, Janis Bryant Price passed through the heavenly gates to a new life beyond the veil. We will miss her greatly but we know she left this world a better place. According to Ralph Waldo Emerson: “To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived, this is to have succeeded.” Jan was a loving wife, mother, daughter and friend. She was also an accomplished speaker, published author, and president of the Quartus Foundation, a spiritual research organization. Jan is survived by her husband of 58 years, John, and daughters Susan and Leslie. Jan and John have resided in Boerne for the last 23 years. Raised in Refugio, Texas, Jan graduated from Refugio High School and attended Southwest Texas State College (now Texas State University).
