Janie Louise (Jarvis) Littleton, 81, of Whiteland, passed away Friday August 12, 2016 in Franklin.
She was born June 2, 1935 in Olive Hill, Kentucky to Ralph and Virginia (Edison) Jarvis.
Janie married Hobert H. Littleton on Nov. 30, 1955 in Kentucky; they were married for 55 years.
She retired from Sears Roebuck Company in Greenwood as a sales clerk after 27 years of service.
Janie was a Master Gardener, an all-occasion cake decorator, and a great cook. She enjoyed cooking, baking and canning. She was a former member of Community Church of Greenwood.
She is survived by her three children, Rhonda (Tom) Eaton of Bargersville, Kathy Vaughn of Georgia and Martin Jeff (Lisa) Littleton of Indianapolis; 11 siblings; Clarice Thomas, Patricia Johnson, Olive Lunsford, Pauline Colley, Althea Hutchinson, Eldon Jarvis, Clyde Jarvis, Phillip Jarvis, Barbara Jarrell, Rockie Jarvis and Pam Finnigan; six grandchildren, Andrew (Melanie Holdorf) Eaton, Austin (Kelsey) Eaton, Alison (Blaine) Furrer, Mandy Terkhorn, Erin (Mana) Paul Bonnie Terkhorn; one great-grandchild, Jayden Mills and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, seven siblings; Tom Jarvis, Paul Jarvis, Harold Jarvis, Joyce Fultz, Leroy Jarvis, Jack Jarvis and Stanley Jarvis; two children, Rondel Lee and Ralph Marvin Littleton, and grandson, Joshua N. Littleton.
