Janice Dagley of Grand Junction, Colorado passed away Saturday, November 24 at St. Mary’s Hospital from complications resulting from diabetes.
Janice Dagley was born Janice Bracken on July 17, 1949 in Collburn, Colorado to Fred and Waunita Bracken. Jan grew up in Palisade the youngest of the family with brothers Buck and Jerry. In 1968, she graduated from Palisade High School where she ran track and was chosen as the Palisade Peach Queen. In 1969 she married Henry J. (Hank) McDaniel (d. 1987) and had two children, Jay D. (d. 1992) and Christine. Jan enjoyed fishing, being outside, and supporting her children in their 4H activities.
