Mrs. Janice S. “Jan” Taylor, 68 a resident of Huguley, AL passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, William E. “Bill” Taylor; children, Joseph William Taylor (Christal) & Scott Lee Taylor (Gregory Ledbetter); two brothers, Rev. George H. Shaddix (Diane) & Charles Shaddix (Jenny); three grandchildren, Joshua William Taylor, Truitt Scott Taylor, and Dawson Reno Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Hubert and Clara Monk Shaddix.
Mrs. Taylor was born in West Point, GA on March 29, 1949. She was a faithful church member at Plant City Baptist Church, where she also served as the church secretary for 22 years. At the time of her death, she was a member of Providence Baptist Church.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
