On Tuesday, February 9th, 2021, Janice G. Gaulding Gassaway, at the age of 90 years old, peacefully passed away.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia to her father, Glynn Pullen Gaulding and her mother, Nettie Rae Moore Gaulding, she was their first born of three children, including their two sons Glynn R. Gaulding and William M. Gaulding.

Janice graduated with honors and a BA degree in Science-English-Education from Berry College in Rome, GA.  She enjoyed working in biochemistry at the Atlanta Health Department, the Miami Health Department and as a teaching assistant at the school of Veterinary Medicine at Purdue University.  She later went back to school to renew her teaching certificate so she could substitute teach in Miami, FL.
