Janice Doreen “Peanut” Carr, 58, of Temple passed away on Friday, May 31, 2019 at Baylor-Scott and White Hospital in Temple.
Peanut was born on June 29, 1960 in Enid, Oklahoma to Clarence and Deloris (Ward) Spiller. She grew up in California and Belton. Mrs. Carr married Benny Carr on June 19, 1975 in Belton and they were married for almost 44 years before she passed away. Mrs. Carr was a longtime member of Faith Assembly of God in Rogers and she was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband Benny Carr of Temple, sons Benny Carr, Jr. and his wife Michele of Temple and James Carr and his wife Amy of Temple, daughters Misty Carr and Aubry Carr of Academy, and brothers Clarence Spiller Jr. of Killeen, Darwin Spiller of Temple and Robert Spiller of Temple.
Also surviving are sisters Kay Weir of Belton, Hazel White of Belton, Nancy Guiterez of Rogers, Maxine Carr of Rogers, Leona Rodriguez of Belton, Rachel Pritchard of Academy, Sandy Allsup of North Carolina, and Deloris Willoughby of Belton, 8 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
