Janice Marie King, 67, of Salem, Arkansas, passed away, Saturday, December 18, 2021, in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
She was born in Trumann, Arkansas on November 20, 1954, daughter of the late James Otho and Alberta Cleo (Guiltner) Stone and was raised by her father, Otho and stepmother, Alice May (Moore) Stone. Janice spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was united in marriage to David King. During her working years, Janice worked for Baxter Lab in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Janice enjoyed reading and writing. She would write journals for the family. Janice loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed baking and playing cards and dominoes. Janice was of the Baptist faith.
Janice is survived by her husband, David King of Salem, Arkansas; son, Jason King and wife Sandy of Salem, Arkansas; daughter, Ashleigh Clark and husband Curtis of Salem, Arkansas; brothers, Doug Stone and wife Linda of Lake City, Arkansas, Bill Stone and wife Imogene of Trumann, Arkansas and Larry Stone and wife Jeanine of Camp, Arkansas; sisters, Theressa Walker and husband Terry of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Louise Ryan of Harrisburg, Arkansas and Barbara Woods and husband Glen of Pineville, Arkansas; grandchildren, Madison Romine, Makayla Harlow and Easton James Clark and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, James and Alice May (Moore) Stone; mother, Alberta (Guiltner) Stone; brother, Robert Stone and sisters, Mary Wallace and Genice McGill.
