She is preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Ricky Wayne Spencer; parents, William “Sonny” Heath and Edna “Tuter” Heath; brother, John Heath; nephew, Chad Alan Heath.
Survivors include her son, Dr. Eric Spencer and wife, Melissa of Newark, DE; daughter Hayley Spencer and David Carter of Gulfport, MS; grandchildren, Lydia Spencer, Isla Spencer, Leila Carter, and Spencer Carter; partner, Bill Letlow; brothers, Joe Heath and wife, Shirley, Tom Heath and wife, Dora, and Roy Ray Heath; a host of nieces and nephews; special friends, Tuleta Sasser, Karen Duvall-Darling, and Rhonda Garrett.
Eric and Hayley would like to express their gratitude and appreciation for the love and support shown by family, friends, and the community. Janice cherished the sweet memories and friendships made throughout her life.
