Janice Eddings Lane, 73, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2022, with her family by her side at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.
Janice was born on August 3, 1949, in Panama City, where she attended various schools throughout the city. She later moved to Caryville, FL, and attended Roulhac High from 1963-1967. After graduating, she attended Florida A&M University until 1970.
Janice worked for Sears, Texas Instruments, and Vitro before she began her 35-year career at Walmart.
Janice was preceded in death by her son, Kevin; her mother, Willie Pearl Russ-Williams; her sisters, Linda Wilcoxson and Althea Williams; and her husband Oscar. She is survived by her three children, Erica, Erin, and Eric (Santanna); stepsons, Curtis (Lori) and Tyrone; ten grandchildren, Erianna, Eris, Eric Jr., Lorenea, Ernest Jr., Tyrone Jr., Tyree, Tyrell, Tamara, and Tiara; brothers Cornelius and Walter Williams; sister, Gwendolyn Williams; aunt, Mary Bryant; and many nieces and nephews.
