Janice Ann (Ruddick) Wilson, 76, of New Whiteland, passed away Wednesday Jan. 20, 2016 in Greenwood.
Janice was born March 30,1939 in Franklin to Charles H. and Letha (Smith) Ruddick.
She married Charles Wilson in June of 1961 in Johnson County; they were married for 54 years.
Janice was employed as an operator with United Telephone Company for 20 years and a secretary for Endress + Hauser for 19 years, retiring in 2010.
She enjoyed bowling, shopping and traveling. She was a member of the Victory Christian Church in Franklin.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Wilson of New Whiteland, a daughter, Debbie (Darrell) Van Meter of Greenwood, three sisters, Linda Kay Beck of Franklin, Letha Joyce (Ken) Potter of Atlanta, Indiana and Jaqueline Lee (John) Garcia of Colorado, step-mother, Louise Ruddick of Franklin, two grandchildren, Ashley Miller and Darrell C. Van Meter and four great-grandchildren, Jackson and Eli Miller and Taylor and Austin Van Meter.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles H. Ruddick and mother, Letha Watson, son, Larry Brent Wilson, brother, Larry Eugene Ruddick and granddaughter, Juliena C. Van Meter.
