Women live their lives in much the same way that a fine tapestry is woven. Each thread represents some act of goodness, some accomplishment in a career, some artistic endeavor, or some satisfaction derived from their delight in providing a home and stability for their family. The tapestry of Janette Stacy Pinson’s life began in the little town of Woodstock, Alabama. She was born to the late Jewel and Florence Hildra Stacy. Early on, she became friends with Ronald H. Pinson and following his graduation, they were married. Ronald brought to their marriage a degree in engineering and a great desire to make something of himself.

Janette brought a 1955 Ford that was paid for, so they loaded up and moved off to Georgia. Ronald’s career with Georgia Power would take them to Rome, Albany, Newnan, back to Rome, Augusta and finally back to Newnan for their years of retirement. Janette possessed a strong servant’s spirit which led her into service as a Pink Lady at Newnan Hospital for 30 years. She was a devoted member of Newnan First United Methodist Church and The Friendship Sunday School Class. She enjoyed time spent with her friends in The Bas Bleu Book Club. Janette will be most remembered for her love for the God who created her, as a devoted wife and an exemplary mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ronald H. Pinson. Her daughters are Janet King and her husband Joe; Carol Jordan and her husband Craig. Her grandchildren are Joseph King, Jr. and Mary Evelyn King.
