Janetta “Jan” Ford, 94 of Centralia passed away, Friday, April 27, 2012 at Centralia Manor in Centralia. Mrs. Ford was born March 9, 1918 in Winamac, IN, daughter of John and Anna (Gillsinger) Shank. She married James “Jim” Ford on February 14, 1939 in Ottawa, and he preceded her in death on February 12, 1992. Jan is survived by two sons: Mike Ford and wife Donna of Centralia and Bob Ford and wife Ann of Memphis, TN; a daughter: Susan Lester and husband Bob of Reno, NV; six grandchildren: Debbie Sulcer, Steve Ford, Rich Ford, Jim Lester, Molly Lester and Katherine Breedlove; six great-grandchildren: Brooke Sulcer, Tyler Sulcer, William Breedlove, Madeleine Ford, Mason Ford and Grant Ford. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a son, John Ford and brothers and sisters. Mrs. Ford was a founding co-owner of Jim Ford’s Men’s Wear, which they operated for 34 years.
