Janet Ruth Reuter, age 76, passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at Centralia Manor Nursing Home in Centralia. Janet was born on May 8, 1938 in Centerville, Missouri to the late Glenn and Mabel Haywood. She married Charles Reuter from Nashville, Illinois and later divorced. Together they had three children and eventually the family settled in Centralia. Upon graduating from Ellington High School in 1956 she worked for Monsanto Chemical Company in St. Louis, Missouri.
Janet worked many years for the Hoyleton Children’s Home in Hoyleton, Illinois and later for Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff, Missouri until her retirement in 1997. Ms. Reuter is survived her two daughters: Shelly Reuter of Centralia; Corrine and Husband David Bundy of Lexington, Kentucky; one son: Rodney Reuter and wife Cheryl of Centralia; three grandchildren: Nathan Bundy of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Austin Bundy of Birmingham, Alabama and Katelin Bundy of Nashville, Tennessee; one sister: Shirley Justice of Ellington, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Glenna Woolf of St. Charles, Missouri.
