Janet Marie Scank, age 70, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away at IU Health Bloomington Hospital on Saturday, December 5, 2020. Janet was born on February 16, 1950, in Rahway, New Jersey to Robert Sr. and Florence (Markell) Scank.
Janet was the Director of Peabody Library in Columbia City, Indiana before retiring and working as the CFO for Classic Catering Inc. in Bloomington. She loved reading, traveling, genealogy, her nephews and nieces, and shopping.
Janet is survived by her mother, Florence Scank, siblings, Robert Scank, Jr., Linda Abbott, Barbara Rambo, and Paul Scank, nieces and nephews, Heather Taillon, Robby Abbott, Robert Rambo, Brandon Cole, and Teresa Cole, great-nieces and great-nephews, Austin Jean Marie May, Dylan Harmon, Alexa Taillon, Luca Cole, and Kaia Cole.
Janet was preceded in death by her father, Robert Scank, Sr., and niece Jesse Harmon.
