Janet Marie (Hoppe) Curran of Plymouth, died, Friday January 18, 2019, at the Beth-Israel – Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth surrounded by her immediate family. Formerly of North Easton, Bridgewater, NJ and Brockton. She was the devoted wife of John M. Curran. Loving mother of John Curran and his wife Maura of Beverly Farms, Christopher Curran and his wife Connie of Fresno, CA, Brian Curran and his husband Jon Graff of Denver, CO, Linda Freedholm and her husband Daniel of Sagamore Beach, Barry Curran and his wife Carrie of Sagamore Beach, and Kevin Curran and his wife Kristen of Sagamore Beach. She was the sister of Patricia Connolly of Quincy and Frederick Hoppe Jr. of Weymouth. She was pre-deceased by her grandson Matthew, and was also the cherished grandmother of Delores, Timothy, Molly, Christopher, Abby, Tyler, Kailee, Ryan, Madalyn, Megan, Peter, Jacob, Maeve, Bridget and Sean, and the great grandmother of Collin, Teja, Jaspreet, Olivia, Adeline, Harleen and Carson, and the aunt of many nieces and nephews. Born in Dorchester on March 23, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Hoppe Sr. and Rita Veronica (Mutrie). Janet was a graduate of St. Clare’s High School in Hyde Park. She enjoyed family time, beach time, her grandchildrens sporting events, knitting, reading and playing Super Mario Brothers.
