Janet M. Agro, age 77, resident of Shelton and beloved wife to the late Charles J. Agro, Sr., passed away Friday, April 1, 2011 at Griffin Hospital in Derby. Born on March 14, 1934 in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Laura Cote Cockayne. Janet was devoted to her family and was a caring mother and grandmother. She loved cats, dogs and dolphins and was an avid fan of the TV shows “I Love Lucy” and “Beverly Hills 90210”.
Janet is survived by a son Charles J. Agro, Jr. of Shelton, three daughters, Rose Ann Agro of Colorado, Laura M. Benton of Ansonia, Elizabeth Agro of Shelton, her cherished grandson and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by two sisters, Marie Canfield and Dorothy Meresko.
