Janet L. Ballard, 71, of Blooming Glen, passed away Thursday, December 16th, 2021 at her residence. Born in 1950, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Alma (Weiser) Stoudt. She was the wife of Richard L. Ballard, with whom she shared 48 years of marriage.
She was a graduate from Kutztown University and worked for many years as a math teacher. More recently, she worked as a secretary for Law Office & Mediation Services of Elissa C. Goldberg, Doylestown, PA.
She was a long-time member of St. Luke’s U.C.C., Dublin, PA, where she worked on the cemetery board. She was also a lifelong member of Grandview Hospital’s Auxiliary. She was also very active with the German Shorthair Rescue Committee’s fundraising and rescued and fostered several dogs over the years.
In addition to her husband Richard, she is survived by daughter, Lisa McDaniel (John), sisters Sandy Conrad and Beverly Shelton. Grandchildren, Courtney and Joseph McDaniel.
