Janet L. Kroll, age 89, of Port Edwards, WI passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at House of the Dove in Marshfield, WI after a brief illness.
Janet was born March 6, 1932 in Marshfield, WI to Neil and Laura (Regele) Christian. She married the love of her life, Gerald Haessly, on July 8, 1950. They were blessed with two daughters and a son. She remarried 12 years later after Gerald’s death to Leonard Kroll on December 30, 1974.
Janet worked for John Edwards High School as a librarian for many years.
Janet loved the Packers, her beloved dogs Pepper and Tana, reading books, country music, trips to Nashville during Fanfare, and most of all her family.
Janet is survived by her children: Susan (Tom) Zager of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Michael Haessly of Port Edwards, WI, and Shelley (Lance) David of Chili, WI; a grandson, Jonathan (Lynn) Zager; and a great-grandson, Adam Zager. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Gerald Haessly and Leonard Kroll; her parents; and a brother.
