Janet Carolyn Ikner, Beloved Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, passed away at the age of 50, at Thomas Hospital on January 21, 2018.  She was a native of Alabama residing in Gulf Shores, AL.  Carolyn was the youngest of five, growing up in Leroy.  She was a graduate of Leroy High School in 1985 and later attended a business school.  She was a member of FBC Leroy and was one of the “puppeteers” ministry at one time.  Carolyn was a certified trainer working many years as an instructor at Health Actions and also in sales at Target.  She enjoyed working out (exercise) and had a sweet, outgoing personality.  Carolyn loved the beach and was faithful in attending her grandchildren’s activities.  She had a “special” group of friends that she always encouraged as she was also encouraged during her battle with cancer.  Carolyn’s last post will forever leave a place in our hearts and minds….

Sometimes, you have to go through the worst to get to the best…..
