During her working years, she worked for both Ford Motor Company and J. C. Penny Co. Janet is survived by her aunt, Irene Iverson of Brooklyn; brothers, Gregory (Karen) Bachtal, Gene (Gail) Bachtal, Rickey (Marge) Bachtal and Leo Bachtal and a niece, Caitlin Bachtal. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Michael and Larry.
