Janelle Bahr passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk after an eight month battle with pancreatic cancer. Her strength and courage were only surpassed by her faith.

On July 29, 1978, Janelle married the love of her life, Richard N. Bahr of Norfolk . They raised two children together in Norfolk; Jessica Muhs of Marquette and Adam Bahr of Omaha.
In addition to raising their two children, she also thoroughly enjoyed gardening. When her hands weren’t in the soil, she was often photographing the beautiful results of her hours in the flower gardens.
Janelle was a kind and loyal friend, and a patient and protective mother and grandmother. You could always count on her for insightful advice.
