Jane Wallace Olmsted, age 91, of Alexandria, VA, passed away on January 4, 2020. Beloved wife of 71 years to Howard S. Olmsted, Jr. Loving mother of Douglas A. Olmsted. Jane was predeceased by her daughter Joyce Simmons; whose husband Craig still survives, and her brother Jack Wallace. Born in Alexandria, VA, she was the daughter to the late William F. and Faye (Kiracofe) Wallace.
Jane worked for the City of Alexandria as a clerk. She was a longtime member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed singing, and sang with the Choral Group at the Goodwin House. Jane was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Fraternity at James Madison University.
