Mrs. Jane S Carmack, 74 of Valley, Al. passed away on Monday February 24, 2014, at her residence in Valley, Al.
Mrs. Carmack is survived by her daughters, Cindy Joyce Carmack Daniel of Valley and Patti Annette Gleaton of Valley; grandchildren, Cody Lee Carmack and Kelsey Brooke Smith of Valley, Ambre Knight of Huguley, Al. and Chris Daniel of Clarksville, Tn. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Carmack Jr. and her son Edward “Mack” Carmack.
Mrs. Carmack was born on March 6, 1939 in West Point, Ga. to the late Willie Lee Smallwood and Mattie Montana McKay Smallwood. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Shawmut. She was a long time employee of Valley Haven School. She played the piano at the Plant City United Methodist Church and was an active member of the Shawmut Reunion Committee.
