Jane Lois Nesius, 93, of Lakeside, Michigan died Monday morning, September 14, 2009. Jane was born October 14, 1915 in Chicago, Illinois to Carl and Gerda (Carlson) Bihl. After graduating from high school she attended business school. Jane worked as an accountant at Montgomery Wards, advancing to the position of assistant to the Head of Accounting.
On February 7, 1942 she married Atwood Erlinder in Chicago. Later, she assisted in the family business at Erlinder Manufacturing. They bought their home in Lakeside in 1956. Jane and Atwood were married over 30 years when he preceded her in death on October 27, 1972. On September 27, 1975 she married Elmer Nesius at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Three Oaks, Michigan.
Elmer preceded her in death after 27 years of marriage on September 29, 2002.Survivors include her loving sons, C. Peter Erlinder and wife Masako Usui of St. Paul, MN and Scott David Erlinder and wife Ginger of Chicago; stepchildren, Robert Nesius and wife Mary of Califon, NJ and Kitty Beletic of Dallas; grandchildren, Sarah Erlinder, Elizabeth Nesius, Catherine Nesius, Brian Beletic and Allison Beletic.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Louise Grace Bihl and beloved friends, William and Clara Leibfritz.
