Jane Zaccardi (nee Mc Quade) 82, of Chadwick Beach Island NJ died at home on Wednesday May 14, 2014. A native of Jersey City, she moved to Chadwick Beach in 1985. Jane was an active parishioner of St Aloysius Church, Jersey City and a member of their Rosary Altar Society and Library Guild.
She later became a parishioner of Our Lady of Peace Church, Normandy Beach and of St Pio of Pietrelcina Church, Lavallette, where she was a member of their Rosary Altar Society, Court St Bonaventure Catholic Daughters of America, and Prayer Blanket Ministry. Jane was a basketball player throughout High School, a Knicks fan, and an avid bowler. Along with her husband Michael, Jane supported her grandchildren in all of their endeavors, especially Irish dance, soccer, and Scranton Basketball. Jane’s greatest joy was being a stay at home mom for her three daughters. She also enjoyed traveling with family and friends.
Pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Michael, in 2008 and her grandson Thomas Nesbihal, in 2012, she is survived by her daughters: Jane Zaccardi of Olathe, Kansas, Ellen Schwarz (August) of Weehawken, NJ and Michelle Fabio (Richard) of Bricktown, NJ; and, her brother Thomas McQuade (Lakewood, NJ); 9 Grandchildren: Ellen, Justin, Michael, David, Michelle (John), Nichole, Anthony, Nicholas, and, Kathleen Jane; and, 5 Great Grandchildren.
