Jane passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 at her residence with her family by her side at the age of 87 years. She was born in Bay City on July 27, 1934 to the late Howard and Irene (Picardy) Bernard. Jane graduated from Bay City Central High School and on April 3, 1954 she married Lawrence Curler and were married for 67 years. Jane and Larry were members of the Eagles and Moose Clubs and owned and operated Superior Canvas for several years. In her earlier years she was a Den Mother and very active in her children’s lives. Her spare time was filled with cooking, hosting family events, quilting and sewing. She especially loved going to her home in Florida during the Michigan winters.
Jane is survived by her husband, Larry; children, Alan (Misty) Curler, Susan (Perry) Whitely, Terry (Shannon) Curler and Guy (Chantal) Curler; step son, Tony Curler; eleven grandchildren, Angie, Sarah, Laura, Ashleigh, Christopher, Amanda, Chelo, Mariah, Ruby, Kali Irene and Alexis Marie and twelve great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her great granddaughter, Alana Marie Neering and four brothers, Russ, Tom, Bob and Dick Bernard.
