Obituary of Jane Lois Detloff
DETLOFF, Jane L. of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Barton Woods Assisted Living. She was 78 years old.
Jane Lois Pildner was born on September 25, 1935 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Daniel J. Jr. and Bertha M. (Gillam) Pildner. Jane married Ralph W. Detloff on June 30, 1956; he preceded her in death on December 26, 1995.
She graduated from Saginaw High School with the Class of 1953. Jane was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and the American Business Women’s Association. She also volunteered in the Saginaw Township Public Schools and with the Saginaw County Republican Party. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts, gardening, and baking.
Surviving are her daughter, Tamara Detloff and husband, Stuart Banner; two grandchildren, Jillian and Harrison Banner; sister, Karolyn (Robert) Chicky; brother, Martin (Mollie) Pildner; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 39 years, Ralph; son, Kevin R. Detloff; two brothers, Kurt R. and Robert D. Pildner; and sister, Sally M. Prince.
