Jane L. Hubbs, 97 of Toms River, formerly of Staten Island, New York, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, June 11, 2019. Jane was born to the late Vincent and Kazimiera Rzymkowski on December 14, 1921 in Staten Island, New York. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She resided in Staten Island for most of her life, moving to Toms River eight years ago to be closer to her family. Jane’s faith and strong-will allowed her to live independently her whole life until God decided to call her home. She enjoyed spending time with her family and welcomed everyone with open arms.
She was the matriarch of the family and will be missed by all whose lives she touched. But she will be enjoying herself at the Rzymkowski Reunion in Heaven! Stolat! Jane is predeceased by her parents, husbands, Thomas Klugewicz and William Hubbs, and daughter-in-law, Barbara Klugewicz. She was also predeceased by her four younger sisters Irene Bros, Rita Paras, Claire Sinnicki, and Dolores O’Brien. Jane is survived by her sons, Thomas Klugewicz of Howell; Robert Hubbs and his wife Kathryn of Seabeck, Washington; daughters, Adrienne McBrearty and her husband Vincent of Toms River; Christine DeNoble of Virginia Beach; nine grandchildren, thirteen great- grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
