Jane (Lusher) Freeman, 81, of LaSalle, passed away, Sunday evening, October 8, 2017 at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
Mrs. Freeman was born on November 16, 1935 in Normal, IL to Herbert and Hilda (Johnson) Lusher. She married Kenneth J. Freeman on April 27, 1957 in Normal, IL. She was an executive secretary for several businesses and was owner of Folena’s Bridal in LaSalle. She attended Illinois State University in Normal and the Patricia Steven’s Modeling School in Chicago. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Peru, St. John’s Lutheran Church in Peru, LaSalle Women’s Club and was a den mother for the Brownies and Cub Scouts. She is survived by her two children, Steven Freeman of LaSalle and Betsy (Steve) Ferguson of Peru; three granddaughters, Margaret “Maggie”, Molly and Mikayla Ferguson and two brothers, Gerald Lusher of Normal and Judson (Ann) Lusher of Princeton. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth and three brothers, Herbert Jr., James and George Lusher.
