Those left to honor Jane’s memory are her husband, Wendell of Newton; son, Brian (and Diana) Tuffin of Des Moines; her daughter, Kay (and Jason) Kleinschrodt of Newton; 3 granddaughters, McKayla, McKenzie, and Jenna Kleinschrodt; and her 2 brothers, Joe (and Joyce) Behrens of Newton and Jack (and Randa) Behrens of Burlington, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Kathryn (Steinberger) Behrens and a brother, Johnny Behrens in infancy.
Jane was a graudate of Newton High School in 1966. She did in-home day care in her home for 20 years, retiring in 1997.
