Jane Copeland Barrett passed away peacefully on May 22, 2014. She was born in Coweta County on October 9, 1929 and was the daughter of the late Ed T. Copeland and Lounette Sewell Copeland.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Charles A. Barrett, Sr. Her working career involved 36 years as a dedicated employee in the offices of Cracker State Oil. Besides being a valuable employee of the company, she was valued as a family friend – a friendship that continued until the time of her death.
She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Mrs. Barrett is survived by her son Charles A. Barrett, Jr.; known to all as “Chuck” and his wife Jill of Carrollton.
