Jan was born and raised in Carlsbad N.M. to George & Teddy Norman. She first attended St. Edwards Catholic School & later attended & gratuated CSHS in 1969. Jan soon moved from Carlsbad, eventually settling in Colorado, where she met & married Pete Surette. On March 24 1986, Jan welcomed her son (& the love of her live) Brian. Jan was preceded in death by her dad George & older brother Jim. She is survived by her husband Pete, son Brian (Ketra & Jude), granddaughter Nova, mother Teddy, sister Judy, brothers in-law Tom (Cindy), Chuck (Marina), sister in-law Susan, many nieces & nephews and her beloved pets Jezzie, Dino, & Clark.
