Jana Lee Hofinga (née Irvine), 78, of Buena Vista, CO, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 16, 2012. Jana was born in Edwards, Missouri, on February 21, 1934, to Richard H. and Hazel V. (Atkinson) Irvine. She spent her childhood between Timbo, Arkansas, and Laramie, Wyoming, where she graduated from high school in 1951. Jana was married to Carl H. Hofinga on August 20, 1960; they were married 52 years. To this union were born two sons, Mark and Phillip.
