Jan Samuel Pinkoski, 60, a long-time Flagstaff resident, passed away on October 9, 2006. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona on August 25, 1946, to Jan L. and Anna Marie Pinkoski.
Jan graduated from St Mary’s High School in Phoenix and received a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University. He retired from Northern Arizona University where he had worked at the Cline Library.
Jan enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, gardening, and reading. He was especially loved by his family and all who met him. Jan always had a kind word and took time out for anyone who needed anything.
He is survived by his wife, Yolanda, sons, Shawn and Nick, his daughter Sonya, and grandchildren Emily whom he enjoyed spending much time reading and playing.
