Jan Suarez Portiz entered into eternal rest on April 21, 2016 at 22 years of age, survived by his mother, Mary Ann Portiz; his brother Jase Portiz; sister Jezel Portiz of Deming and his father Jessie Portiz from Manila Philippines as well as many relatives.
Jan came to the United States at 14 years of age, graduated from Deming High School of Class of 2011 and attended college at NMSU. He leaves behind numerous dear friends as he was a friend to all he met.
