Jamie Owens, 40, of Salem, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021 at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, Illinois. She was born August 11, 1981 in Centralia, the daughter of Rocky Owens and Linda George. She is survived by her father: Rocky Owens and wife Carrie of Salem; two grandmothers: June Garren and Billy Sue Owens both of Odin; a step-son: Malikhi Miller of Marion; three aunts and three uncles: Lesa Moore of Kentucky, Kay Byington of Illinois, Jim Alli of Illinois, Joe Alli of Illinois, Kent Owens of Odin, and Terri Lively of Odin; a special nephew: Devon Speiser of Sandoval.
She was preceded in death by her two grandfathers: Herman Owens and Jim Alli, her mother: Linda George, and two brothers: Justin Mulvaney and Josh Speiser. Jamie had a love for animals. She also enjoyed gardening and landscaping. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
