Jamie Glen Edwards, 36, of Ft. Walton Beach and formerly of Palatka, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at his home. He was born in Gainesville and had lived in Fort Walton Beach for the past three years coming from Bostwick. Jamie was a 2003 graduate of Palatka High School and served honorably for three years in the US Army. He had worked as an installer and then as an inspector with Hiller Alarm Co. in Ft. Walton Beach. In his leisure time, Jamie enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. He also loved music and was a talented singer, songwriter and played the harmonica.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clarence V. Wilkinson and Amy June Wilkinson, and paternal grandfather, Johnny Edwards.
He is survived by his son, Jamie Ray “Jay” Edwards, mother, Lori McGurer (Kevin Esses), father, Glen Edwards, fiancé, Michelle Dampier, sister, Stacy Eason, and paternal grandmother, Betty Edwards.
