Jamie Nix December 30, 1977 a” May 27, 2013 On May 27, 2013, our beloved Jamie passed away peacefully at home. She was born in Grand Junction, Colorado on December 30, 1977, to Joel and Jennifer Nix. She attended Fruita area schools, where she lived her entire life. She was the apple of her daddy’s eye. She was the proud mother of two beautiful daughters, Kiara and Daizha. The were the center of her world. Jamie had a passion for stray animals, and always brought them home. She loved to spend time outdoors with her girls, family, and friends. She enjoyed camping and fishing, and she loved her Dr. Pepper!! Our world will not be the same without her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her two daughters, Kiara D. Nix, and Daizha J. Armas; parents, Joel and Jennifer Nix of Fruita; sisters, Shawna Moore of Clifton; Lynette (Gary) Murray of Johnstown, CO; Nicole (Ed) Quigley of Grand Junction, CO; Jasmine D. Nix of Fruita, CO; brothers, Joel (Katja) Nix of Commerce City, CO; Mike (Christy) Nix of Fruita, CO, and Bo Nix of Palisade, CO, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
