James Wm. Owens, age 86 of Osgood passed away Tuesday, March 13 at his home in Osgood. He was born July 30, 1925 in Ripley County, IN to the parents of: Glen and Ethel Goodpaster Owens. He maried Wynema Aldine Van Volkenburgh and she still survives at home.

He was preceded in death by One son; Leon Owens.
Also, by three brothers; Russell, Denny Ray and Rolland Owens plus one sister; Faye Mills.

Had been a TV repairman for 35 years in Osgood.
Past school bus driver for approximately 10 years for Jac-Cen-Del school system.

Past Jac-Cen-Del School board member .
Past Osgood Town Board member.
Jim loved raising his roses, blackberries and also enjoyed watching the birds use the many bird house boxes which he had in his yard.
He also loved go carts, stock cars and fishing.
He and his wife had loved and enjoyed doing flea marketing over the past ten years.
Most of all, he loved his wife, family and his many friends.
