James was born in Washington, D.C. in 1922. He was a member of the Merchant Marines during World War II. His team transported ammunition for the military. He was a Truck Driver with National Bohemian Brewery for 26 years. He was a member of the Pascal Senior Center and El Bethel Church in Pasadena. He liked to go to Carol’s Western Wear Friday Night Music. He played the harmonica, horseshoes and really liked country music.
