James Wesley Whitwood, 62, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016, at his home in Stockbridge. James was born December 22, 1953 in Lakeland, FL to the late Noel D. Whitwood & Faye Adkison Whitwood.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, David Whitwood & Doug Whitwood. James was a mechanic with Delta Airlines where he retired after 29 years of service.
Survivors include son, Wesley Whitwood; daughters, Krista Hancock, Kayla Sexton, Danielle Whitwood; brother, Noel Whitwood; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
