Mr. James Wesley Weeks,Sr., 65, passed away, Thursday, October 2, 2014 at his home in Sharpsburg. He was born February 11, 1949 in Atlanta to the late Ray Lester Weeks & Ruth Mae Thrower Weeks. James was the owner and operator of the Weeks Family air conditioning company, Newnan Heating and Air. He was a church member at Born Again Ministries. Survivors include wife, Mary Weeks of Sharpsburg; children, James Weeks Jr. and wife Bonnie of Sharpsburg, Paula Weeks Strickland and husband Brett, Sr. of Newnan, Thomas Weeks and wife Josi of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Jessica Weeks Grant and husband Anthony, Brett Strickland, Jr. and wife Carli, Brad Strickland, James Weeks, III and wife Kelsey, Brittney Cannady and husband Nick, Matthew James Ryan Weeks and wife Allie, Destini Weeks, Michael Weeks, Kristen Joyner, and Taylor Bush; great-grandchildren, Chasity and Anthony Grant, Jaeli Dunlap, Zander and Kendall Cannady , Brooklyn Weeks, and Seraph Strickland.
