James Wesley Mullinax, age 65 of Greensboro, passed away June 20, 2021 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
He is preceded in death by his father, Hubert Wesley Mullinax.
Survivors include his wife Dianne Johnston Mullinax of Greensboro, daughter; Christie Crane and husband Michael, son; Wesley Mullinax and wife Chelsee, his mother; Mary Ellen Mullinax, grandchildren; Landon Crane (14), Mallory Crane (11), Ellen Crane (10), Anna Sutton Mullinax (5), and Watson Wesley Mullinax (3), sisters; Pam Hyman and husband Dale, Paula Galloway, Patty Seals and husband David.
James was born in Oakman, Alabama and spent his younger years in Hueytown, Alabama before attending college at Livingston University. He played football at Livingston where he met Dianne, they married in 1978. Soon after he and Dianne married they moved to Greensboro where they raised their two children. James was an owner of Hale Supply Center until his retirement. He was a member of Northwood Church of Christ and was a very proud Paw Paw to five grandchildren. James was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. While he will be greatly missed on this earth, we are thankful for the life that he lived and the eternal reward he has received.
