James Walter Baker, 74, of Newnan passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. He was born September 20, 1945 in Newnan to the late Walter Burton Baker & Sallie Harris Baker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Kristi Ann Baker and brother, Cecil Baker. James grew up in Newnan and worked at Bonnell for 20 years before owning and operating Baker Wrecker Service from 1994 until his retirement in 2015. James was a member of the former Emory Chapel United Methodist Church.
