James Wade Mouton died on Saturday, April 2, 2011 after a short illness at Ochsner Hospital. Mr. Mouton was born on October 5, 1925 in New Orleans. He attended Holy Cross High School until he was drafted into the Army in WWII. James Mouton was preceded in death by the love of his life, wife Marie Alma Poche Mouton. He was the son of the late Stella Brockett Mouton and Salvador Mouton, Sr. He was preceded in death by his sister, Stella Marie Mouton and his brother, Salvador M. Mouton, Jr. James Mouton was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Leefe Poche and several sisters-in-laws. Mr. Mouton is survived by his nieces, Charmaine Mouton Kathmann (Richard) and Jeannine Mouton Fugarino (Anthony Paul) and three nephews Nicholas Robert Kathmann, Gregory Shane Kathmann and Stephen Patrick Fugarino. He is also survived by brothers-in-law Clyde Poche, Roland “Tan” Poche, Francis “Jack” Poche, Emily Poche plus several nieces and nephews in the Poche Family.
